How Do I Combine SmartRent with Siri Shortcuts?

With Siri Shortcuts, you can run a Scene in the SmartRent Mobile App using Siri voice commands. These voice commands can be customized to your preference.

Creating a Siri Shortcut for Running a Scene:

To create Siri Shortcuts for Scenes, follow these steps:

1. Create a Scene in the SmartRent Mobile App
   • Learn how to create a Scene with our How Do I Create, Edit, and Delete a Scene in the App? Article
2. Run a Scene in the SmartRent app
   
   • This allows iOS to detect the potential shortcut
3. Open the app icon named Shortcuts
4. Tap + in the upper right-hand corner
5. Tap + Add Action
6. Search for your SmartRent Mobile App in the search bar
7. Tap the SmartRent Mobile App
8. Tap on the Shortcut you want (i.e. Welcome Home)
9. Tap Next
10. Name your Shortcut
11. Tap Done 
12. On the home screen of your Shortcut app, you will see your newly created Shortcut
