How Do I Enable Location Services for Self-Guided Tours?

In order to receive the access code for a Self-Guided Tour, you need to be within a specified range of the community. This range is typically three miles but can go as far as ten miles depending on the community. To verify you are within the set radius of the community, we require you to enable location services on your mobile device. 

• To enable location services on iOS, follow these steps:

  1. Open your phone’s Settings
  2. Tap on your desired web browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.)
  3. Tap Location under Settings for Websites
  4. Adjust setting to Ask or Allow

   

  If you are receiving a "Location Required to Start Tour" error, follow these steps:

  1. Open your phone’s Settings
  2. Tap Privacy
  3. Tap Location Services
  4. Tap on your desired web browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.)
  5. Adjust setting to While Using the App

• Enabling Location Services in Android can vary from device to device and may even vary slightly depending on which Android version you’re using. That said, these are the most common steps:

  1. Open your phone’s Settings
  2. Tap Apps 
  3. Tap on your desired web browser (Samsung Internet, Chrome, etc.)
  4. Tap Permissions
  5. Tap Location
  6. Toggle Location on

  1. Tap and hold desired web browser (Samsung Internet, Chrome, etc.) from the home screen or app list
  2. Tap the info icon when it appears
  3. Tap Permissions
  4. Tap Location
  5. Toggle Location on
