How Do I Connect My Hub to the Internet?

During the initial installation of your smart home system, installers will set up and configure your hub via a cellular signal. This cell service internet connection allows us to perform a less invasive installation while still ensuring everything works as intended. While you can continue using the cellular signal, we strongly encourage you to connect your hub to the internet via WiFi or an ethernet cable. WiFi or ethernet will provide a stronger connection to the internet resulting in a faster and more reliable smart home experience.

NOTE: If you have SmartRent Community WiFi, your hub is already connected to the internet. You do not need to take any action. Community WiFi is not available in all communities. Speak to your community manager about enabling this feature.
