The SmartRent Hub is the device that connects you to the smart devices in your home. In most cases, the hub can simply be left alone to its duties without any human interaction at all. That said, there may be times when you may need to access the hub for basic troubleshooting.
Typically, the hub is installed somewhere out-of-sight but its location can vary from community to community and home to home depending on the floor plan. If you need to locate your hub as part of a troubleshooting process, check the following places in your home:
- Cabinet above the microwave
- Equipment closet
- Master bedroom closet
- Laundry room/closet
- Entertainment center
- Near your internet service provider equipment
If you can’t find your hub in one of these locations, please reach out to your community manager for help locating it.
