How Do I Create, Edit, and Delete a Schedule in the SmartRent Mobile App?

Schedules allow you to automate device actions at specified times and days. Schedules are most common for thermostats and entryway lighting but can be customized for many of your paired devices.

Creating a Schedule:

In order to create a Schedule in your SmartRent App, follow these steps:

  1. On either the Dashboard or Smart Home tab, navigate to the device you want to create a Schedule for and tap the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the device card
  2. Tap Schedule 
  3. Tap the +
  4. Select the time and day(s) when you would like the Schedule to run
  5. Tap the Check in the upper right-hand corner
  6. Set what the device will do
  7. Tap the Check in the upper right-hand corner
  8. View your new Schedule on the menu that appears

Editing a Schedule:

To edit a Schedule in your SmartRent App, follow these steps:

  1. On either the Dashboard or Smart Home tab, navigate to the device you want to edit a Schedule for and tap the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the device card
  2. Tap Schedule 
  3. Tap on the desired Schedule you wish to edit
  4. Make desired changes to the Schedule times
  5. Tap the Check in the upper right-hand corner
  6. Make desired changes to what the device will do
  7. Tap the Check in the upper right-hand corner
  8. View your new Schedule on the menu that appears

Deleting a Schedule:

To delete a Schedule in your SmartRent App, follow these steps:

  1. On either the Dashboard or Smart Home tab, navigate to the device you want to delete a Schedule for and tap the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of the device card
  2. Tap Schedule 
  3. Tap on the desired Schedule you wish to delete
  4. Tap Delete Schedule at the bottom of the page
  5. Tap Delete in the confirmation pop-up window
