Like any other computer, the hub can get into a bit of a funk (in rare cases) where it may not work as expected. Now that we have multiple hubs, some may need to be rebooted differently.
For Zipamicros (Small green and black hub) the hubs are also inside of the white enclosure with SmartRent on the front:
- Unplug the power cord while leaving the ethernet cable plugged in.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the hub.
For Zipaboxes (Bulky white hubs with antennas):
- Hold down "Button 2", on the top of the hub, for 5 seconds to reboot.
- You should see the lights turn off, then once released, it will start its rebooting cycle.
