Welcome to your new smart home powered by SmartRent! SmartRent is a mobile app that allows you to view and manage all of your smart devices, create scenes, set schedules, and so much more!
If you have not already done so, you will need to create your SmartRent account. To create your SmartRent account, refer to your email. You should have received an email from us that explains how to create your account. If you cannot find this email in your inbox or spam folder, please reach out to your community manager and they will be able to resend you that email.
Upon logging into your SmartRent app for the first time, you will have the ability to connect to your local internet, either by WiFi or Ethernet. You may set this up at a later time, to do so please reference our Connecting the Smart Home System to your Local Internet article.
You will then notice a carousel list of your smart device that you can swipe through. You can control these devices right from the home screen, or you can tap on the device icon to view more options.
Under the device icons, you will see another carousel list of your [Scenes]. Tapping on one of the tiles will execute that scene.
The navigation menu is displayed at the bottom of the screen to direct you to [Scenes], [Rooms], and More.
