The SmartRent Hub allows you to control all the devices in your home from the mobile apps and web browser. The Hub communicates with each of your smart devices over the internet or 4G cellular network.
What to know about your hub:
If the light is solid, this means that the hub is online and working as intended.
If the light is blinking, this means that the hub is attempting to connect to the local cellular network or internet in order to work. If the light continues to blink for an extended period of time, you can attempt a reboot by unplugging the hubs power cord for 10 seconds and plugging it back in.
If you have an Alloy HOME or Zipato Hub, you can set it to reboot by pressing on Button 2.
Note, it may take a few minutes for the hub to fully reboot.
If you are still unable to get the light to stop blinking, please contact our support team to help you get your hub back online.
If you do not have a hub, please contact your property manager immediately so they can get a new hub out to your unit, and get your smart home system back online.
If this device is unplugged, you will no longer be able to control your devices via the mobile app, though you are still able to use your devices manually.
