How Do I Customize My Scenes Widget?

The Scenes Widget allows you to easily activate any of the custom Scenes you’ve created in the SmartRent Resident App. To customize your Scenes widget, follow the steps:

Adjusting The Order of Scenes:

The Scenes widget shows up to 4 Scenes and then scrolls to show all additional Scenes created. To adjust the order of which Scenes show first:

1. Navigate to the Dashboard tab
2. Navigate to the Scenes widget
3. Tap the three dots icon in the top right corner of the widget
4. Tap Manage Scenes
5. Tap and hold on the three horizontal lines icon of the Scene you want to rearrange and drag it up or down in the order you’d like it to appear
6. Tap the check mark in the upper right corner

Creating a Scene Within The Widget:

To create a Scene in the Scenes widget, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Dashboard tab
2. Navigate to the Scenes widget
3. Tap the three dots icon in the top right corner of the widget
4. Tap Add a Scene
5. Enter a name for the Scene and tap the Check in the upper right-hand corner
6. Select an icon and tap the Check in the upper right-hand corner
7. Select a color and tap the Check in the upper right-hand corner
8. Select a device to add to the Scene
9. Select what device action to take when the Scene is activated (i.e., Unlocking the door)
10. Tap the Check in the upper right-hand corner
11. Add any additional devices to the Scene 
12. Review the Scene and tap the Check in the upper right-hand corner to save
